It has the wa...Have you tried using freezer paper? It has the wax side that you can temporarily adhere to the quilt top by ironing and tears away very easily. I'm thinking it would provide a cleaner way to trace your pattern since it is heavier paper. I've used it for paper piecing projects but not quilting.
