They look and 'talk' just like them, except for their pretty blue color...They don't call hawks predators for nothing. They really can be fierce, but also beautiful. I too hate to see animal violence despite the necessity. The worst thing I ever saw was a black snake half in, half out of a bluebird feeder that had eggs in it. We now spray snake away at the base of all the trees that have houses on them. I never want to see that again.Carol Henrichshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06328038893854035269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429437193398678634.post-24276891306842885022013-04-23T17:53:13.556-05:002013-04-23T17:53:13.556-05:00Hey Cuz...I have never seen a bluebird in the wild...Hey Cuz...I have never seen a bluebird in the wild. I am missing that sight. We had a bird horror story right out back our patio door. A hawk swooped down on a dove who took off but the hawk hit him right against our patio door. It was horrific. The hawk stalks our various neighborhood feeders for little mice, etc but wil take a bird now and again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6429437193398678634.post-7603113718620154442013-04-23T12:10:40.348-05:002013-04-23T12:10:40.348-05:00I love the hummers and bluebirds too.
